Returns and warranty

As a general rule, Mantones del Sur does not accept returns as these are exclusive, delicate, and antique products.

CONDITION OF MANILA SHAWLS

When you buy an antique Manila shawl, you should consider that you are buying a unique textile. It may not always be perfect, but it is a piece of history, and therein lies its charm.

If it has survived to this day, it is because it was previously worn with care and well stored for many years.

We describe any issues with the garment in the product description. Very often, these minor defects are not noticeable and do not affect the durability and beauty of the garment you are buying, but it is our policy to inform you before you make your purchase.

Each Manila shawl or garment has a condition rating according to the following scale:

Intact – No signs of wear whatsoever. It usually still has the original tags.

Excellent – It has been worn but has no obvious or noticeable defects. These items have no holes, stains, discoloration, or odors.

Very good – Shows wear and minor defects.

Good – Some defects, but still wearable.

Fair – Some visible and noticeable defects, specified.
